nvidia driver 1.0.8774 + suse 10.1 + xen3 == happiness
It’s easy!
Just download the shell script - it’s cribbed originally from this guy which in turn was cribbed from a Fedora Core shell script.
Shell script is here: nvhack.sh.gz
You’ll need to download the drivers off of the nvidia site here.
I’ve disabled the –silent argument to the nvidia installer. There’s a bunch of stuff that the installer checks which takes quite a while and I like to know what’s going on. Just say yes to accepting the license and say no to having the driver modify your xorg.conf files. Sax from SuSE will do that dirty work for you.
